Timeless, warm, and oh-so wearable. Taking a cue from the French, the European loop is a classic and simple way to tie your scarf. It gives a slightly tailored look to your outfit while still remaining casual. We love that is is the easiest and warmest way to wear a scarf. It is also the best scarf knot for men, both masculine and understated.
How to Wear This Scarf:
Keep in mind that the knot in the front will have a lot of fabric going through it when tied and can get bulky. Try not to use a chunky knit here as it will make a huge lump an your chest. Keep your color and prints simple and your fabric soft and draping. Medium and long rectangular scarves, like a pashmina, work the best here depending on how far you’d like the ends to drape down. Play with the look a tighter knot will be more polished then a more casual loose knot. Silks and soft knits will look more tailored and classic. You could even tie this scarf with a light gauzy scarf for Spring or Summer.
